PALAZZOIRREALE is pleased to host Chiara Bertola for the talk that will take place on September 20 at the spaces in Via Luigi Bosca 2, Canelli (AT), in the Monferrato area.
The event is part of the program accompanying the exhibition Giuseppe Gabellone, curated by Giorgio Galotti, inaugurated on May 18 and open to the public until September 28, 2025.

At the heart of the exhibition is Tramonto scivola, the work from which the entire project takes shape, conceived by the artist in an exclusive dialogue with the spaces of PALAZZOIRREALE.

The conversation between Chiara Bertola and Giuseppe Gabellone will be an opportunity to delve into the artist’s poetics, exploring the ability of artworks to transfigure the exhibition space, redefining its perception and atmosphere. The works become agents of a silent metamorphosis, capable of generating new spatial realities and rewriting the very meaning of the place.

PALAZZOIRREALE stands out in the artistic landscape for its ability to weave together art, culture, and history in a profound dialogue with architecture and the surrounding territory. At the center of the project is the gradual creation of a permanent collection composed of works by the participating artists, each inspired by the site and its context. It is not only an exhibition space but a cultural hub capable of going beyond the physical boundaries of the building, giving back to Monferrato a meaningful project that reignites attention on these extraordinary places.

The contemporary art program was launched in 2024 by the Fondazione Bosca, promoted by the historic sparkling wine house of Canelli, under the creative direction of Diana Berti, with the aim of giving new life and voice to the Liberty-style complex and the Underground Cathedrals, UNESCO World Heritage Site, on Via Luigi Bosca.
